Music wins at Carrefest
Carrefest is over and if you miss it, well, it was a great and unique occasion to see tremendous artists like Alvaro Soler and Bombai for free.
I had to chance to be there and I am already saying to all my friends that next year they should not miss it.
What I really like about the event is the all festival organization, because it’s not just a free concert it’s a stage for artists that might not have the chance to share their vision with other incredible bands.
Venturi, Señor Nadye, Hickeys and Alejandra, the winners and finalists of the Carrefest competition were acting like rockstars on the stage, and they had already crowded groups of groupies over the public.
You don’t have any idea of how many selfies I saw shooting with the guys from Venturi.
2017 was the third edition, we all know how precious is for young musician to have such an important contest where the power of deciding who is going to perform at the final event is given to the public, to us, this is priceless.
We all have a friend who is a songwriter, who is part of a group since he was a kid or an angelic voice that we know and wish that everybody else can discover sooner or later.
Carrefest is this, an opportunity.
Carrefest is a greater opportunity also because it’s a gipsy project, this year in almost two months, 73 recording sessions and 672 songs spread around three different cities (Madrid, Bilbao and Sevilla), the festival has reached a wider public, with more than 60.000 votes.
The Music truck is such an amazing idea, a recording studio inside a truck, the ultimate idea for sharing music with a professional sound.
Only a innovative company like Carrefour with its hundreds of supermarkets in Spain was able to promote a develop such an important celebration for music.
